Arsenal are set to miss out on signing Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic as the club are refusing to meet his price-tag that the Italian side have given him.
It's reported that the Italian club have told Arsenal that the striker will cost them £25million if they want to bring him to the Emirates Stadium, however it seems Arsene Wenger is not prepared to spend that much on the Montenegro international.
Talks have been ongoing for several weeks now between the two clubs as the Gunners have shown severe interest in the 23-year-old and are eager to bring him to London.
Despite willing to pay up to £20million, Fiorentina are rejecting to listen to any offers under their estimation of £25million.
Arsenal are reported to be very interested in bringing in a new striker to help bolster their attack despite impressive seasons for the attacking trio of; Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott, however if they are not prepared to meet the asking price, other clubs will be, especially Juventus.
The Italian champions are very keen on Jovetic after holding talks with the club and they are also prepared to spend £25million on the striker, but Fiorentina do not really want to sell him to a rival club and would rather sell him abroad.
