Manchester United, in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season, were crowned league champions for the 20th time.

So, let's look at Manchester United's top 10 goals of the season. 

10. Robin van Persie v Fulham

We start with Robin van Persie, arguably the most influential player Sir Alex Ferguson brought in last summer, with his crucial goal against Fulham when going 1-0 down at Old Trafford.

9. Nick Powell v Wigan

Nick Powell, who was signed from Crewe Alexendra this summer, uses great composure, technique and completely wrong foots the Wigan defenders before scoring with a great strike on his debut.

8. Rafael v Liverpool

This season, in particular, Rafael has come of age and secured the right-back position for Manchester United. This goal really shows the flare of the young Brazilian.

7. Robin van Persie v Cluj

Manchester United were a goal down against Cluj and needed some inspiration. Robin van Persie provided it with a goal of pure class.

6. Robin van Persie v West Ham

Robin van Persie latches on to a sublime pass from Ryan Giggs before scoring in injury-time to force a replay in the third round of the FA Cup. The Dutchman showed brilliant composure and class to take it in his stride and fire the ball into the net.

5. Tom Cleverley v Newcastle

Cleverley, who hasn't played much this season, scored an absolute cracker  against Newcastle in early October: a spectacular effort which flew into the top corner.

4. Shinji Kagawa v Norwich

The Japan international scored his first hat-trick for the Red Devils against Norwich in March. All three goals showcased Kagawa's remarkable talent and potential.

3. Wayne Rooney v Norwich

Wayne Rooney also scored a beauty against Norwich back in March. This was a beautiful curling effort from range which left the opposite goalkeeper with no chance.

2. Rafael v QPR

A stunning effort by Rafael, who struck an excellent first-time shot into the top corner scorching past Julio Cesar.

1. Robin van Persie v Aston Villa

Of course, this had to be number one. Van Persie hit a magnificent volley from Rooney's sumptuous pass to score arguably the best Premier League goal of the season. He would go on to complete a hat-trick and help United lift their 20th league title.
