Barcelona have set another new La Liga record as they became the team to have scored the most away goals in one season.

The two goals at Espanyol took their tally to 52 for the season, beating Real Madrid's record from last year.

There is still one game to go in the Spanish domestic season and the win at their Catalan rivals ensured Barca equalled their own record for most away wins in La Liga.

It was their 14th win away from the Nou Camp in La Liga this season.

Should this season's Spanish champions beat Malaga in their final game, they will reach 100 points, equalling another Real Madrid record.

It may have been a disappointing end to Barcelona's European hopes when they were beaten 7-0 on aggregate by Bayern Munich in the semi-final of the Champions League, but this hasn't stopped them walking away with the La Liga title.

Barca lead rivals Real Madrid by 15 points with the one remaining game. Madrid host Osasuna on Saturday before Malaga travel north for their daunting task.
