QPR play-maker Adel Taarabt could be set for a move to the United Arab Emirates, with Al Ain FC interested in a move for the Morrocan international according to The Mirror.

Al Ain are looking for a player of international calibre to enhance their reputation, having secured the league title last month, with 62 points from 26 games.

Al Ain also have a player of Premier League quality in their squad, with former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan currently plying his trait with the most successful club in UAE history.

Meanwhile Adel Taraabt has failed to hit the sparkling form that we saw when the Hoops were promoted from the Championship in the 2010-2011 season.

Despite making 27 appearances this season, the Morrocan has only made five assists, and scored five goals.

In comparison with QPR's title winning season, this will make for difficult reading, when in that season Taraabt scored 19 goals and created 23 assists.

Harry Redknapp has stated that he is prepared to listen to all offers for his players following their relegation from the Premier League this season.

It is no secret the QPR's wage bill is sky high, with Taarabt rumoured to be one of the highest earners in the squad.

Al Ain are preparing an £8 million bid for Taraabt, who is expected to leave this summer.
