Following Borussia Dortmund's Champions League final defeat, many big players may be set to leave the German giants.
Mario Gotze has already signed a deal with their prime rivals, Bayern Munich for €37m, while Lewandowski has been linked to some of the best clubs in the world including Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Though, it's unclear whether United will sign the Polish international, it is clear that Lewandowski would bring a multi-faceted and potent threat to the team's attack - even if he would not fill the most pressing need in United's squad.
There may have to be a lot of change at Borussia in the summer, and this is off the back of a trophyless season, after conceding the league and Champions League to Bayern, Dortmund will also be without a place in the German Cup final on June 1.
In contrast, Bayern could have one of their best seasons ever and are on course for a treble and only look likely to get stronger with the additions of Pep Guardiola and Mario Gotze.
A Beyrn treble would be a fantastic way to say farewell to Jupp Heyncknes, who has managed Bayern for more than six years over three different spells.
However for Borussia, they may struggle to excel in Europe's elite competition next year, they will have to rebuild and hope that some of their top stars don't follow Gotze out the exit door.
It will certainly prove to be a tricky summer for Jurgen Klopp and next season may see a very different Dortmund team.
Do you think the Dortmund team will collapse as bigger teams make bids for their best players?
