Celtic 2-1 Barcelona

This was real underdog stuff; the Glasgow side were going up against the mighty Catalan club in a game they were given no hope of winning. Neil Lennon’s side were beaten by a last second heartbreaker in the corresponding fixture at Camp Nou, so Barcelona had been warned.

Park Head on European nights can be a special place and the Glaswegian fans didn’t let their side down. Goals from Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt won it for Celtic, but an outstanding showing from the Bhoys defence and Fraser Forster in goal really made it all possible.
