Arsenal are set to bring back one of their most popular stars from the ‘Incredibles’ squad to help promote the club.
The Gunners confirmed the appointment on their official website and he will jet out to Asia next week on a promotional trip to promote the club’s pre-season tour there.
The Swede spent ten years at Arsenal and was a fan favourite during some of the most successful years under Arsene Wenger.
In his time at Highbury and Emirates Stadium, Ljungberg was known for his darting runs behind the defence from wide areas and his deadly finishing – usually after being played in by a Dennis Bergkamp pass.
Two Premier League titles and three FA Cups were the major honours he collected while at Arsenal, but his he is best remembered as being a major part of the famed ‘Invincibles’ side
The ‘Invincibles’ went the entire 2003/04 Premier League season without losing a single match.
