This year's beaten Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund are eying up a bid for Arsenal and German hit man Lukas Podolski according to The Sun.
Podolski signed up with the Gunners for £11 million last summer from Cologne after the German club were relegated.
He has been inconsistent at times but has now got to grips with the switch to the English game, helping Arsenal seal their Champions League place with 11 league goals and 16 in all competitions.
The German was reportedly fearing for his future earlier in the season after being substituted almost every time he played and was also growing tired of being played out of position. Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott have been preferred up front meaning Podolski has had to play most of his games out wide on the left.
The third most capped German of all time is wanted by the Rhur club and have money to spend after the high profile departure of Mario Gotze and the likely departure Robert Lewandowski.
He is reportedly happy with life in London but a big offer could test the resolve of both Arsenal and the player. However, Wenger will be keen to keep his squad intact as they look to build on their fourth place finish last season.
