Jose Mourinho’s first transfer deal when he takes over at Chelsea will be to sanction the sale of David Luiz to Barcelona in a £30million deal.
According to the Daily Star, the Portuguese will head straight to London to complete his switch to Stamford Bridge fro a second spell in charge.
The report also claims the now ex-real Madrid manager is ready to make major changes at Chelsea and his first move will be to oversee the sale of the Brazilian.
Luiz, who played in Brazil’s 2-2 draw with England on Sunday, has had his future called into question recently.
He has added to the speculation by refusing to rule out leaving Chelsea this summer, while it was reported he wanted talks with Mourinho to discuss his future.
Barcelona are the favourties to sign David Luiz but, according to the report, incoming Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola may also retain an interest in him.
Real Madrid have also been mentioned as possible suitors as they look to rebuild after Mourinho said goodbye to los Blancos fans at the weekend with a 4-2 victory over Osasuna.
