Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud would welcome former Montpellier team-mate Younes Belhanda "with open arms" should the Morocco international head across the Channel this summer.

The 23-year-old has been told he can leave France and has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Arjen Robben has backed Jose Mourinho to bring silverware back to Chelsea, should he make his expected return to Stamford Bridge.

The Bayern Munich winger won two league titles at Chelsea, and the Dutchman thinks that Mourinho can replicate that success if he comes back to the Premier League.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany hopes to see the club strengthen this summer so they can make a renewed bid for the Premier League title.

City's defence ended in failure as neighbours Manchester United took the title, and Kompany feels that City need to invest as up to seven clubs could be competing at the top.

Manchester United great Bryan Robson hopes Wayne Rooney has 'seen sense' and will stay at Old Trafford for many more years.

Rooney's future at United was cast in doubt last month when it was revealed by outgoing manager Sir Alex Ferguson that the striker had put in a second transfer request.

Leandro Damiao says Tottenham's failure to make it into the Champions League does not mean he will not move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs have been chasing the Brazilian international for more than 18 months, and they have seen a couple of moves for him fail to materialise.

And finally, Carles Puyol claims he has never given serious thought to leaving Barcelona and hopes to end his career at Camp Nou.

The no-nonsense defender is a product of Barca's famed academy system, and intends to see out his playing days as a one-club man.
