Neymar, who recently completed his move from Santos to Barcelona, will have his presentation ceremony in the Spanish mega club’s 99,000-seater stadium tonight.
Fans will be able to start taking their seats at the Camp Nou at four o’clock in the afternoon, whereas Neymar will sign his contract in Barcelona’s office 45 minutes later.
An hour later, the 21-year-old will meet with President Sandro Rosell, vice president Josep M. Bartomeu and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.
At 18:15 local time, Neymar’s presentation ceremony will finally take place at the stadium, where Blaugrana fans will get to see the Brazilian playmaker for the first time in a Barcelona shirt.
A press conference, which is expected to take around half an hour, will then be held in the Auditorium 1899 at 19:30, and Neymar will eventually be asked to address himself openly to the Spanish press about his brave transfer.
Neymar will be playing alongside No.10 master Lionel Messi next season, forming what might go on to be considered as one of world football’s strongest attacking duo.
But with No.7 forward David Villa and No.11 midfielder Thiago Alcantara both likely to leave Barca this summer, it has yet to be confirmed which number the former No.11 Santos superstar will choose at the Catalan club.
Having put an end to all transfer his speculations, Neymar will evidently hope to carry on his 2014 FIFA Confederations QCup preparations in peace, next up.
