Fiorentina have informed potential suitors of Stevan Jovetic will not be sold for a cent less than his €30 million asking price, seemingly placing a in doubt transfer to either Arsenal or Juventus this summer.
The 23-year-old Montenegrin striker is expected to leave Florence before the transfer deadline in August, with Arsenal and Juventus credited with interest, although the failure to budge on the fee requested by prevent his sale.
Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta claims Fiorentina's demands may prove too much for the Serie A champions, with Viola counterpart Sandro Mencucci stating Jovetic will not leave anything lower than €30 million.
"Jovetic is on the market then it means that they want to sell it," Marotta told Sky Italia.
"30 million cash, everyone has the right to make their own figures - but have our limits."
Arsenal had appeared to be the frontrunners to claim the signature of Jovetic with reports claiming the Gunners have already entered into negotiations to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
