Argentina has produced some of the most talented footballers in the world.

Players from the country have gone on to become legends in European club football. Stars including Diego Maradona, Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Mascherano, Carlos Tevez, Lionel Messi and countless others have made their name plying their trade with top European clubs.

The following are some of the top young players coming out of Argentina that could make a name for themselves in Europe in the coming years.

Leandro Paredes | Boca Juniors

Leandro Paredes is making headlines with his displays, and the Argentine people have high hopes for the talented 18-year-old who they have dubbed the "next Riquelme".

The player hasn't been called up to the Argentina national team a senior level, but few have doubts that he will be called up for the setup soon.

Paredes has been scouted by some of the biggest clubs in world football, including Arsenal who have been following his progress closely and are expected to make a move for him in the coming months.

Gino Peruzzi | Vélez Sarsfield

Gino Peruzzi has made a name for himself in a relatively short space of time and is regarded as one of the finest young full-backs in South America.

The defender is seen as an apparent heir to Pablo Zabaleta in the right-back position. Peruzzi has the ability to play further upfield and doesn't shy away from a challenge.

Ezequiel Cirigliano | River Plate

Ezequiel Cirigliano has been compared to Javier Mascherano and the defensive midfielder is quite similar in playing style to the Barcelona star.

Like all good defensive midfielders his off-the-ball play is as impressive as when he has the ball. The player has still some growing to do both physically and mentally, but his potential has made him an attractive proposition for some of the biggest clubs in the world including Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG.
