Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has pinpointed Swansea City striker Michu as a potential signing in the summer as he looks to bolster his squad.
It's reported that Wenger wants to strengthen his side in the summer so that he can build up a title-challenging team next season and he has made it clear that his strike-force needs work.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic, Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain and even Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
Despite those high profile names being listed, reports are suggesting that Arsene Wenger has had a meeting with his scouting team about possibly making a bid for Swansea's Michu.
The striker scored 22 goals in his debut season in England after signing from Spanish side Rayo Vallecano in the summer for just £2million.
Two of his 22 goals came against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium when Swansea beat The Gunners 2-0 and his performances this season have impressed Wenger and he could be tempted to make a formal bid for the Spaniard.
Arsenal are currently scouting Michu's team-mate Ashley Williams as reports have suggested that he could be making the move from the Liberty Stadium to the Emirates Stadium and the scouts at Arsenal are now keeping tabs on Michu.
