Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm believes the treble win the club achieved this season is just the beginning for the German giants.
Bayern beat Stuttgart 3-2 in the DFB-Pokal final at the weekend to become the first German team to win the treble.
The weekend win came after victories in the Champions League final and a winning Bundesliga campaign.
Lahm told Bild: "We are the first German team to have won the treble and that's sensational. We deserve a place in the history books.
"I have a feeling, though, that this treble is only the beginning of a very successful era for Bayern."
The win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in the Champions League final was the first time Bayern had won the famous cup since 2001.
Despite this, the German champions have been in the final of Europe's top domestic competition for three out of the previous four years.
Lahm added: "The entire situation is just perfect. We will have yet another top coach with Pep Guardiola and all the players are at a perfect age and have ongoing contracts."
Former Barcelona coach Guardiola takes the reigns at the club after winning two Champions Leagues with the Catalan club.
He also led the Camp Nou outfit to three La Liga titles in his four years at the club, winning a total of 14 trophies before leaving Spain last year.
