Arsenal remain interested in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to reports.
The Daily Mail claims Gunners chief Arsene Wenger is exploring a number of attacking options, with Swansea star Michu and Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko also on the Emirates Stadium radar.
Fiorentina star Stevan Jovetic, Argentine hitman Gonzalo Higuain and Manchester United star Wayne Rooney are also mooted as possible targets by the paper, and fans will certainly be hoping for a big-name arrival this summer.
Benzema would fit the bill, with the 25-year-old French international prolific in-front of goal at both Lyon and Real Madrid.
Arsenal, meanwhile, were short of options in attack this season, with Olivier Giroud the only central option available to Wenger. Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski have also played in the position when required by the Frenchman.
Benzema would certainly add an extra option for his compatriot were he to arrive in north London, whilst also sending out a message to the Gunners' rivals for next season.
