Brazil and Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has revealed that his agent is trying to negotiate a deal that could see the 24 year-old make the move to Inter Milan in Italy.

The transfer news comes days after the midfielder netted a delightful equaliser against England, in the recent 2-2 draw in the newly re-opened Maracana stadium in Rio De Janiero. Paulinho was making only his 12th appearance in the national team, but has scored three goals, sparking international interest following the performances.

In a recent interview with Italian magazine Gazzetta Dello Sport, the midfielder has said he would take any opportunity to move to Inter.

"I said and I repeat, I would go for sure to Inter. They are a club known all over the world. Who would not want to wear that shirt?" said Paulinho.

It is well known that Inter will not be competing in Champions League next season after a poor ninth place finish in Serie A last season, but Paulinho has said that this would not be a problem, should he make the move to Nerazurri.

"The fact Inter would not participate in the next Champions League is not a problem because they surely will want to take revenge."

"But if Inter want me they have to come forward with the right offer. I'm not a kid. I'm fine in Brazil. I play in a strong side like Corinthians and I'm one of the Selecao's regular eleven. I must have the right motivations to leave all of that," added the midfielder.
