Triple H and WWE chairman Vince McMahon have come to blows after the wrestler was prevented to fight on Raw.
Vince McMahon and his daughter Stephanie, Triple H's wife, were involved in a heated argument regarding the wrestler's physical condition.
Both Mr McMahon and his daughter insisted that Triple H would not be allowed to compete against Curtis Axel.
Triple H suffered a heavy defeat to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules but the future WWE Hall of Famer ignored the advice of WWE physicians and return to the ring just one night later against Curtis Axel.
Triple H produced a respectable effort before he was unable to continue the bout.
On Monday night on Raw, after hearing that his wife and father in-law declared that he wouldn't be allowed to compete in a match, he stormed out of the XL Center in Hartford.
Before storming out, Triple H vowed that he'd face off against Axel next week and held a heated discussion with Mr McMahon.
Everyone will be waiting to see what transpires from this incident. If Triple H does go against the decision made by Stephanie and Mr. McMahon he will certainly face a backlash from the pair.
Vince McMahon has earned a reputation for achieving something he wants and it'll be very difficult for Triple H to try and convince him otherwise. As father to Mr McMahon's grandchildren this argument is more than just WWE. It's a family issue.
Mr McMahon is acting on behalf of everyone's best interests and him and his daughter will hope Triple H doesn't betray them.
