Crazy wind-assisted own goal embarrasses Serie D keeper

It's one thing to battle against your opponent, but another entirely to battle against the elements.

If you watched the recent Giro d'Italia, you beared witness to the crazy weather conditions in Italy - driving wind and rain, hailstones and thunderstorms.

And the Italian weather doesn't seem to have improved much here, as a massive gust of wind embarrassed a poor Serie D goalkeeper at the weekend.

Ischia took on Delta Porto Tolle in the Italian fifth tier - the top level of the country's non-professional football association.

And the Tolle goalkeeper was left red-faced after his clearance caught a huge blast of wind. It caused it to fly back towards him, taking a massive bounce off the turf before nestling into the back of the net.
