Ronaldo stars in hilarious charity match bloopers video

How hard can it really be to say 11 little words?

Perhaps Michael Essien was asking to much when he asked a bevy of his (now former) Real Madrid team-mates to take part in a video promoting his 'Game of Hope' charity match on June 8.

He's reeled in some pretty big names too, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Jose Mourinho (before he left the Bernabeu), Mesut Ozil, Kaka and Sami Khedira.

And all they had to do was look into the camera and utter one short sentence - sadly the multimillionaire global superstars couldn't even do that!

Fear not though, the likes of Ricardo Carvalho and Luka Modric, both of whom spent plenty of time in England, are on hand to show them how it's done. Or maybe not….

But the prize for worst performance of the day foes to Marcelo, who even struggles with his own name.

Check out the hilarious bloopers video below - and click here to find out more about the 'Game of Hope' between and African and World XI in Accra on Saturday.
