Nottingham Forest midfielder Adlene Guedioura is a target for a number of Premier League clubs, according to Sky Sports News.

The Algerian has a host of Premier League experience after playing in the top flight for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Guedioura's first spell at Wolves came in the form of a loan spell, after he left Belgian Pro League side Sporting Charleroi in 2010. In his first season, Guedioura made 14 appearances, scoring 1 goal.

Guedioura then signed on a permanent deal following the loan deal, rumoured to be in the region of £2m. However shortly after making the deal permenant, Guedioura suffered a fractured fibia. He struggled to regain form and went out on-loan to Championship side Nottingham Forest.

It is here where Guedioura has attracted interest from other clubs. Following a loan spell, he then signed a three-year-deal, worth around £1m. Forest manager Billy Davies described the Algerian as "a firm favourite with the forest faithful due to his all action displays.”

Guedioura also won the goal of the season award at Forest, with his 35 yard effort also nominated for Npower Championship goal of the season.

Forest would be keen to keep hold of arguably what is their prized asset, as Billy Davies values Guedioura as the playmaker that could be central to their promotion challenge next season.

But if Forest are approached with a good enough offer, Championship finances would mean Davies would have to seriously consider any offers submitted.
