Every year, big names are linked with a possible move to the Premier League. This year is no different, but how good are the rumoured newcomers?
Stevan Jovetic | Fiorentina
Jovetic, 23, has had his best season to date in Serie A - helping Fiorentina secure a fourth-place finish, narrowly missing out on Champions League football.
Contributing to his team's success with 13 goals and five assists in the Serie A campaign, he has been linked with a range of big clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.
The Montenegrin has continued to improve since making his professional debut at the age of just 16 for FK Partizan and then moving on to Fiorentina in 2008.
He burst onto the scene following a brace against Liverpool in the Champions League, followed by another brace against Bayern Munich. Since then, he has matured into Fiorentia's most important player and a fans' favourite.
Any team thinking of acquiring Jovetic's services will have to dish out £20-25m.
Edinson Cavani | Napoli
Most football fans will be familiar with Edinson Cavani's name by now, following three hugely successful seasons with the Italian outfit Napoli.
The 26-year old striker has been targeted by all of the big clubs in the world ranging from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Cavani has impressed since his move from Palermo to Napoli and has scored an incredible 78 goals in 104 league games for them. The Uruguayan is more than capable of producing moments of magic with his right foot and his head.
Cavani will no doubt be a wonderful addition to any team in the world and Napoli have stated that they do not wish to sell him. However, he has a buyout clause of £54m. Cavani is only 26-years old so the large investment would be more than worth it in the long-run.
Andre Schurrle | Bayer Leverkusen
Schurrle has enjoyed an impressive campaign with Bayer Leverkusen, contributing to their third-place finish in the Bundesliga, just one point behind Borussia Dortmund.
Playing most of his games as a left-winger, the German international has managed to score on 11 occasions and has created seven goals. Schurrle is known for his blistering pace and his composed ball control and would be an asset to any team in the Premier League.
Chelsea look like the front-runners for his signature and are expected to spend between £20-25m.
