Most footballers are pretty good at towing the part line when it comes to talking about their relationship with their team-mates.

"We all get along, we've got a great group in that dressing room," goes the usual spiel.

Well we're glad to see that at Manchester United they don't mind a bit rivalry amongst their players, with Robin van Persie and Rio Ferdinand going toe-to-toe in a no holes barred, winner-takes-all...game of table tennis. This is serious stuff people.

Yep the two Old Trafford aces have taken part in a 'Battle of the Bats' as part of BT Sport's latest video to promote their Premier League coverage for next season.

Ferdinand appears to have the upper hand in the opening exchanges but eventually the finesse of Van Persie shines through to leave the game tied on 9-9.

Who wins? Well you'll just have to watch the hilarious video above to find out. Enjoy!
