With it being speculated that Tyson Fury is set to face David 'The Hayemaker' Haye I decided that an article on the two fighters had to be written.

These two fighters are massive personalities and keep many interested in a heavyweight division which in general lacks excitement and charisma.

Tyson is a brash, arrogant character who is also hilariously funny. He is great for the sport and he is a real personality.

He provides constant entertainment whether that be in the ring or outside. He gives great interviews and by boxing on Channel 5 he is able to attract casual boxing fans to watch him.

Haye is an equally captivating man who is able to engage viewers with an exciting all-action fighting style and great personality. He is the right mixture of confidence and arrogance meaning that people like him and he is able to draw massive crowds to watch him.

His comeback from retirement was met with great applause and many see him remaining active as integral for the division. He is a former undisputed cruiserweight and WBA heavyweight world champion. He is at the top of the sport and is truly an elite fighter.

The media hype surrounding such a fight will be incredible with two good British heavyweights getting it on and injecting some excitement into what some have labelled as a dead division.

I personally see Haye winning the fight via a knockout. He will be too technical, quick and powerful for the giant 6ft 9 Fury.

Fury is clumsy and yes he can bully opponents but Haye has a clever way of avoiding punches and slipping in and out.

Fury was knocked down by former cruiserweight Steve Cunningham in his last fight and he is not even regarded as a big puncher whereas Haye is.

Haye will be able to exploit the clumsiness of Fury and land his signature haymaker at will.

The fight will be all-action and heart-racing for its entirety. For the victor a shot at a world title seems are real possibility. This is a massive draw for both fighters and one that will mean that they will work relentlessly in preparation and enter the fight in great physical condition.

Haye always enters the ring looking in amazing physical shape with a chiselled physique. Fury has in the past been guilty of entering the ring in less than impressive condition but that is a thing of the past and is sure to turn up in great shape.

I predict that this fight will take place and that it will be a huge success. It will truly capture the imagination of the people and will raise the standard of heavyweight boxing and present the noble art of boxing with some new fans.

This fight is one that I truly hope takes place and so do so many others. Watch this space!
