Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he has held no talks with Real Madrid since Jose Mourinho's departure to Chelsea.
Media reports have linked Ronaldo with a move back to former club Manchester United, and these suggestions have intensified after Ronaldo told reporters that he hasn't discussed his future with Madrid officials.
Ronaldo was speaking to reporters following Portugal's 1-0 victory over Russia in their World Cup qualifier in which he played an important role.
"I have not spoken with anyone yet but the most important thing is the team," said Ronaldo.
And when the two time Ballon d'Or runner up was asked about Mourinho's comments regarding his "know-it-all" attitude, Ronaldo was quick to laugh off the comments made by his former manager.
"You think I'm worried about that? I'm concerned with the national team, that's what matters most to me, not the opinions of others," Ronaldo added.
And it seems that the media speculation surrounding Ronaldo's future could be beginning to affect his performances after he produced a below-par display that saw his team limp to a 1-0 victory over Fabio Capello's Russia.
Helder Postiga scored the goal following a Miguel Veloso free-kick. The result sent his team top of Group F, with 14 points from seven games.
