Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur target Edin Dzeko is available for transfer this summer, according to reports.

The Sunday Telegraph claims incoming Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is willing to listen to offers for the Bosnian international striker, and could even look to use him as a makeweight for Napoli forward Edinson Cavani.

Dzeko has struggled to make the forward position his own during his time at the Etihad Stadium, with Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero keeping the 27-year-old out of the Citizens side.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have fewer option in attack, and Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Stamford Bridge has led to the former Wolfsburg star being linked with a move to west London.

The Blues currently have Fernando Torres and Demba Ba at their disposal, but ‘the special one’ is looking to make changes to his side if reports are to be believed.

He gave little away with regards to his transfer targets during his first press conference as the returning Chelsea manager, however.

Tottenham Hotspur are another side to be linked with strikers this summer, as Andre Villas-Boas looks to bolster his attack for next season.

Dzeko has previously been on the Spurs radar, according to the report, whilst Leandro Damiao, David Villa and Christian Benteke have also been linked.

The Tottenham Hotspur boss currently has Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor at his disposal at White Hart Lane.
