UFC on Fuel TV 10 was an entertaining affair with plenty of knockouts and submissions at the Paulo Sarasate Gymnasium in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Fabricio Werdum against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was the highlight of the night. Werdum was able to put Nogueira on his back early on but 'Big Nog' fought back to his feet. Leonardo Santos forced the tap against William Macario in the second round. Macario was able to land a few decent shots and takedowns early on. But Santos turned things around with an outside-trip in the second round putting Macario on his back. Santos immediately transitioned to mount and secured an arm-triangle forcing the submission.
Thiago Silva was also a winner on the night defeating Rafael Cavalcante. Cavalcante got off to a great start landing cleaner and harder strikes early on. But Thiago Silva managed a barrage of punches against the cage which ended the fight at 4:29 in round one.
Jason High was defeated by Erick Silva after he was forced to tap just 71 seconds into the fight. High went for a takedown early but Silva sprawled and transitioned to his back. Silva produced an arm-lock forcing the tap with just over a minute gone.
Daniel Sarafian locked Eddie Mendez in an arm-triangle while simultaneously transitioning to mount as he forced the tap with two minutes 20 seconds gone. Sarafin landed a few hard shots early on before shoving Mendez to the canvas and jumped right on top of him.
It took only 84 seconds for Rony Mariano Bezerra to defeat Mike Wilkinson as he locked up a triangle choke. Just before Wilkinson had put his opponent on his back with a double-leg takedown but Bezerra managed to perform the triangle choke to end the fight very early.
