FIFA 14 have released their official E3 trailer featuring Barcelona superstars Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Cesc Fabregas.

The 86-second video gives a glimpse into ‘The Next Generation of Football’, according to EA Sports, with the Barca players discussing the concept of a perfect goal.

Their talking is intermittently broken up with pre-alpha gameplay footage, which shows the players coming out onto the pitch, making tackles, passes and the obligatory goal from Messi.

With the Xbox One and PS4 both set for release later this year, the footage shows major improvements in terms of graphics, and gamers are sure to be excited with this little glimpse at the action.

However, EA Sports don’t exactly give everything away in this trailer, and fans will be expecting much more in the coming weeks and months ahead of the game’s launch in September.

But, to keep you excited for now, check out the video below and let us know how good you think the game is going to be…
