Liverpool are being linked with a loan move for Chelsea attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon.
The 19-year-old Brazilian joined the Blues from Sao Paulo in January 2011, and made three appearances in all competitions for the Stamford Bridge outfit last season.
He ended the campaign on loan in Spain however, featuring in 11 La Liga matches for Malaga at the end of their campaign.
Piazon enjoyed the experience of playing regular football, and hopes to leave Chelsea on loan again next season. The teenager has an eye on the Premier League.
“It's hard to say how often I will play or if I will play at all. We have to wait and see if any Premier League clubs will be interested in me,” he said, according to The Daily Mail.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is one of those eager to land the teenage playmaker, the paper claims, with the Northern Irishman looking to add to his attacking options at Anfield.
The Reds have already added centre back Kolo Toure to their ranks on Merseyside, and are now looking to add a player who can help score goals at the other end.
Liverpool aren’t the only Premier League team to be linked though, with newly-promoted Crystal Palace also reported to be keen.
Piazon only seems interested in a short-term move though, with the youngster revealing his delight at the arrival of Jose Mourinho in west London.
'”I am excited, everything will change. It will be very good to work with someone like Mourinho,” concluded the Chelsea starlet.
