Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim is looking for a loan move to a Premier League club to increase his chance of forcing his way into the Manchester City first team.
The young Norwegian is attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal, Swansea, Fulham and Liverpool. The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Norwegian first division side Stromsgodset.
The young midfielder, who is compared to Patrick Viera back in his homeland, is entering the final year of his Manchester City deal.
Premier League clubs will be looking to get Ibrahim onloan, and then look to sign the Norwegian on a free transfer, when his contract expires at the end of next season.
The exciting youngster has spent much of his Manchester City career on loan at different clubs, including Scunthorpe United in 2011, NEC in 2011-2012, and then Stromsgodset, who he has been with since 2012.
Ibrahim has enjoyed a successful spell in Norway, making 21 appearances for Stromsgodset, scoring three goals.
Ibrahim was also part of the Norway U21 side the recently beat England 3-1 in the European Championships to send the Young Lions home. And Ibrahim hopes that the form he has shown in Israel can force through a transfer.
"At the moment I'm focusing on the tournament but from what I know from my advisors, there is interest from Premier League clubs," Ibrahim told reporters in Israel. "I will know my future once I get back with City after my loan finishes on 30th June. But I would love to play in the Premier League next season, week in week out as it is the best league in the world."
