The Ricoh Arena will be the venue for snooker’s new competition as the Champion of Champions tournament heads to Coventry.

The November tournament will start with four groups of four with the winner of each group progressing through to the semi-finals.

Top players including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Mark Selby, Judd Trump, Neil Robertson and Ding Junhui will all be eligible to compete at the Arena with a top prize of £100,000 on offer for the winner.

The event will also be televised on ITV as it runs from November 19 for five days, with the final consisting of the best of 19 frames on November 24.

The full line up is yet to be announced, although the winners of all the major tournaments are expected to compete in the brand new tournament.

The Jaguar Exhibition Hall will be the part of the Arena to host the event after recently hosting the Davis Cup match between Great Britain and Russia.
