Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has rejected transfer speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham, stating that he is happy in Brazil.
The Brazilian midfielder has stated that his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, is in Europe to do business, but not to discuss potential transfer details for a move to White Hart Lane.
Paulinho has said that Bertolucci, who also manages the careers of Chelsea duo David Luiz and Ramires, is in Europe to discuss deals with different clients.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with a move to Serie A, with both Roma and Napoli interested in a move for the midfielder, but Paulinho has dismissed those rumours, too.
"He (Bertolucci) is not negotiating," Paulinho told Terra. "Giuliano has many clients - I am not the only one.
"He is in England, admittedly, but he works for many other players. They say that Giuliano is working for me to leave Corinthians, but that is not the case."
Paulinho, who scored Brazil's equaliser in the recent 2-2 draw with England in Rio De Janiero, has grown frustrated with the constant media attention regarding his future.
"He (Bertolucci) has his work with other players and I don't understand why people persist with this story," added Paulinho, who looks like he will be staying with Corinthians.
