Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has reiterated his desire to leave Anfield in order to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
It was announced earlier in the year that Suarez didn't want to stay on at Liverpool and wanted a move away this summer because he felt he needed a change of environment as a result of his tarnished reputation in England.
Suarez has complained about the way he is treated in England and admitted that it wasn't nice for him or his family.
Despite the Uruguayan admitted he wants to leave Liverpool, the club's officials have revealed their plans of keeping the striker despite him asking for a transfer.
The club believe Suarez will respect his contract and stay on at the club, but the player himself doesn't feel the same as he eyes a move to Spain in order to join giants Real Madrid.
Suarez, who is currently playing for Uruguay at the Confederations Cup in Brazil, came up against several Real Madrid players as his country faced Spain in their opener.
The game finished 2-1 to Spain, but it was Suarez that stole the show after he scored a great free-kick to get his country back in the game.
Talking after the game, Suarez admitted that he would give everything at Real Madrid and would love to play for such a big team in world football.
"I will give my soul every time I step on the pitch," Suarez told El Pais.
"I have done this with Uruguay, Ajax and Liverpool. I do not hold anything when I finish a game.
"A player always aspires to be at the top of their profession and Madrid is at the top for any football player."
Not only does Suarez feel victimised by referees and fans alike in England, he has also admitted the lack of Champions League football is effecting his career.
"It disturbs me that Liverpool are not in the Champions League every season," added Suarez. "I've suffered at Liverpool, but when I think of what it represents to play for this club, and the love my daughter has - she sings the hymn - the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I play at Anfield."
