Brendan Rodgers is taking Liverpool in the right direction and will bring in new players at the club in order to finish in the Champions League places for the first time since 2009.

Luis Suarez has been a hot transfer topic this term - and as he can't cope with life in England he may be forced to play his football elsewhere next term.

Pepe Reina could re-join Barcelona due to their lack of good goalkeepers. Liverpool are also closing in on the signing of Simon Mignolet, according to ESPN.

The Sunderland keeper is one of the most underrated keepers in the Premier League and will be a good addition to Liverpool. Iago Aspas of Celta Vigo is also destined to make a move to Anfield, to replace Suarez for the long term.

Defender Kolo Toure has also joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Manchester City to replace out-of-favour Martin Skrtel who could move elsewhere for regular football.

Sevilla winger Luis Alberto is also tipped to make a move to Anfield as they look to strengthen their squad even further.
