French internationals Karim Benzema and Franck Ribery are facing charges after allegations have been made that they paid for sex with an under-aged prostitute.
The two footballers will face trial in France next year (2014) as the case has been adjourned and if they are found guilty, the players could face three-years in jail and could also be fined €45,000.
The Real Madrid and the Bayern Munich star have both denied the allegations and the prostitute in question, a girl named Zahia Dehar, has claimed the footballers didn't know she was under-18 when they paid for her services.
The girl in question is now 21 and is now a household name after she started up her own fashion label.
As previously mentioned, if Ribery and Benzema are found guilty of this charge, they could face up to three years in prison and will also have to pay a hefty fine, but both of them are denying all allegations made against them.
It is suggested that six other footballers are involved in this case as well and it all broke out before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Other footballers have been accused of aggravated pimping.
Back in 2010, both Ribery and Benzema were arrested because of the claim and the Munich winger eventually admitted that he had sex with Ms Dehar back in 2009 when she was aged only 17.
However, Karim Benzema, who currently plays for Real Madrid, has denied any reports suggesting he has had sex with her, which is the opposite to what the prostitute has had to say.
Zahia Dehar told the court that Benzema paid for her services a year earlier than Ribery when she was just 16-years-old.
