We're around two months away from WWE's 'biggest party of the summer', the pay-per-view extravaganza of SummerSlam, and the rumour mill is already rife with speculation over what will happen at the Staples Centre on August 18.
Here is a card that I believe to be ambitious, but not at all impossible, especially in the WWE as of late.
John Cena vs Mark Henry
This will most likely occupy the main event slot at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV. I would expect Cena to win both matches, however, a beat-down from Henry following their SummerSlam encounter would allow a chance for a cash-in! And we know how much the fans enjoy those!
Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk
Consider this an absolute lock. Two 'Paul Heyman guys'. Two of the companies biggest draws and two of the greatest superstars in WWE history. If built well and executed correctly, this could go down as one of the all time great match-ups in the history of the company. Throw in Paul Heyman, and you have an unmissable contest.
The Undertaker and Kane vs The Shield
Probably the most unlikely match on the card, however, it has been speculated that Undertaker would return from his hiatus to work a match alongside his brother Kane against the men that put him on the shelf back in April.
This could be another night where the stars align for The Shield, cementing their place as one of the most dominant trio's ever in pro wrestling, or, a possible final hurrah for the Brothers of Destruction? We'll have to wait and see!
World Heavyweight Championship
Dolph Ziggler vs Big E Langston
This has the potential to be a huge match. Langston would announce himself as a major player on the title scene, whilst Ziggler would be able to overcome adversity and retain his championship - a win-win for both parties.
Other Possible match-ups
Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam - Need i say anymore?
Curtis Axel vs Christian
Fandango vs. Daniel Bryan
