Top three: Midfielders in Europe
Manchester United & Barcelona stars are amongst Europe's best midfielders
There are some absolutely fantastic midfielders playing across Europe and a lot of them you would expect to be in the top three midfielders.
These are, in my opinion, the current best three midfielders on the continent.
Xavi | Barcelona & Spain
The Barcelona midfielder is an unbelievable player. He can tackle, pass, shoot, score and be a leader of men. He controls the game and simply is the perfect player. He is without a doubt in the top five and may just be the best midfielder in the world.
Michael Carrick | Manchester United & England
A player that many fans would be surprised to see in the list, but if you have watched Manchester United play this season you would know he has been by far the best midfielder in the Premier League.
He rarely gives the ball away and has drawn comparisons to Paul Scholes. Carrick controls the game and dictates the tempo of the match.
Many people will disagree but any player who controls the midfield for the Premier League champions deserves to be looked upon as one of Europe's top players.
Andres Iniesta | Barcelona & Spain
Iniesta is a player similar to Xavi. He can pass the ball but he moves around the pitch more than his Barcelona team-mate. He can also score goals and is a very important player for Barcelona and Spain.
Iniesta can pass the ball quick and keep the play moving. He, along with Xavi, continues to create chances for the world's best player, Lionel Messi.
Three are fantastic players who I believe are the best three midfielders in Europe.
If you don't agree then comment below with your players - and don't forget to put why you think they are better than my choices.
