Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling took to social networking site Twitter to wish his daughter a happy first birthday, before being corrected by the mother saying that the girl's birthday is actually next week.
The winger came to light this season under Brendan Rodgers after putting in some great performances earlier on in the season before being rested a lot for the second half because Rodgers was scared he may over use the teenager.
Sterling's early-season performances impressed many people in the footballing world and even earned him an international call-up for England under Roy Hodgson, but it seems his knowledge doesn't match to his abilities on the football pitch.
The winger tweeted: "happy birthday to my beautiful daughter who is 1 todayy"
Not only did Sterling tweet that message, he also re-tweeted a fan who sent him a message saying he wishes his daughter a happy birthday, too.
Unfortunately for Sterling, though, he was then tweeted by the child's mother Melissa Clarke, who let him know about his mistake.
Melissa tweeted: "@sterling31 sorry to correct you but u don't no ur own daughters birthday its next week! Shame on u."
