Ahead of the Lions tour in Australia, which kicks off this weekend, the English cricket team, who will also face the Aussies later in the summer in the Ashes, have sent the rugby players a good-luck video message.

Despite preparations for the Champions Trophy final on Sunday, a hand-full of the English cricketers spent time talking to a camera and sending their best wishes to the Lions boys.

The likes of Alistair Cook, Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott, Jimmy Anderson and Eoin Morgan all sent messages to the players who were going to be in action on Saturday as the first test kicks off.

Doing funny impressions and giving good messages, the cricketers were in happy spirits ahead of their big-final game on Sunday and I'm sure the rugby boys will be grateful for the good-luck gift.

The English cricket captain Alistair Cook rounded off his message by telling all the English players in the squad to 'do it for Queen and country'.

It was then spinner Swann's turn to shoot a message and in his usual comedic self he would put on a very strong British accent in wishing the Lions the best of luck.

Swann then reappeared later on in the video doing a couple of impressions, which would make even the top-impressionists jealous.

As for Jimmy Anderson, he weighed in on the comedy by doing a very funny impression of a Scotsman.

South African born Jonathan Trott then wished the South-African boys in the Lions squad the best of luck before joking and saying 'What? Aren't they allowed to join in too?'.
