With big-money deals happening this summer, let's look at how much some of Europe's top players might be worth.

Frank Lampard | Chelsea | Estimated value: £15m

Despite being 35, a midfielder who can get you 10-15 goals a season demands a price tag like this.

Eden Hazard | Chelsea | Estimated value: £30m

Around the price that Chelsea paid for the Belgium international - he hasn't done enough to increase that value.

Wayne Rooney | Manchester United | Estimated value: £40m

A striker who can get you 15 goals minimum, despite an injury-plagued season that also saw him playing out of position. Rooney is a dream player for any manager. He can also play in other position and can pass the ball with precision. On his day he is better than any other English player.

Lionel Messi | Barcelona | Estimated value: £150m

It would take a momentous bid to even start to persuade Barcelona to sell, but £150m would surely be too good to turn down. The world's best player commands such a value.

Fernando Torres | Chelsea | Estimated value: £12m

A player who cost Chelsea a staggering £50m never lived up to that price. Torres has struggled to score the amount of goals expected of him and his value has decreased. I'm sure Chelsea would not reject a bid of £12m.

Luis Suarez | Liverpool | Estimated value: £40m

Suarez's ability and goalscoring record would command a much higher price than £40m, but what decreases his value is his disciplinary record. In his career he has faced bans for twice biting a player and one for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra. I doubt a team would want to spend more than that on a player who may miss parts of the season with bans.

David de Gea | Manchester United | Estimated value: £25m

De Gea has had a fantastic season at Manchester United, winning the Premier League, and at such a young age a top goalkeeper is easily worth big money. De Gea is easily the best young goalkeeper in the world and another couple of good seasons could see his value double.

Xavi | Barcelona | Estimated value: £35m

Another one of Barcelona's key players. Xavi sets up many of Messi's goals and is one of if not the best midfielders in the world. If he was a couple of years younger you could add £20m on to his value.
