Gus Poyet has been sacked by Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion after a club investigation was held after he was initially suspended at the end of last season.
It has yet been revealed why Brighton suspendeD Poyet in the first place and there will be further questions on why he was eventually sacked by the club.
If getting sacked wasn't bad enough, unfortunately for Poyet, he found out about the news whilst he was being a pundit on BBC Three for the Confederations Cup.
The news of Poyet's dismissal came out during the first-half of Spain v Nigeria - and the Uruguayan was apparently told by the BBC presenter rather than the club itself.
As soon as the first-half ended in Brazil, the feed went back to the English studios that are still in England and instead of doing half-time analysis, they spoke about the breaking news that Poyet has been sacked.
The presenter brought up the news and revealed to Poyet the club statement which read: "Gus Poyet has been informed by the club's internal disciplinary panel his employment has been terminated.
"In line with the club's own procedures Mr Poyet now has a right of appeal."
The statement added: "Given the close proximity of the new season, the club will, in conjunction with its board, now seek to appoint an interim manager pending the outcome of a possible appeal.
"The interim manager will oversee the initial weeks of pre-season preparation alongside the club's existing staff."
After he finished reading the statement, he asked Poyet how he felt about the situation, to which the manager revealed that he had no idea he was sacked and he only found out once he was told by the presenter.
The news broke on BBC Sport, Sky Sports News and all over the social networking sites before Poyet knew himself.
The interview was very hard to watch as Poyet looked very surprised and hurt about the decision that Brighton took and the fact that he had no idea made it a lot worse.
