Luis Boa Morte has scored a contender for the greatest penalty of all-time in a Luis Figo charity match at the weekend.

The 35-year-old former Premier League star dummied his opposition goalkeeper with an over-the-ball air-shot, before slotting cooly into the bottom corner.

Figo's side - which included a stellar cast including Vitor Baia, Michel Salgado, Pedro Mendes, Emerson, Gaizka Mendieta, Marcel Desailly, Faustino Asprilla and Emmanuel Petit - were trailing 2-0 against Venezuelan champions Deportivo Anzoategui, before Boa Morte reduced the arrears in emphatic style from 12-yards.

The sensational spot-kick sparked the start of an impressive turnaround for the Figo XI, who went on to win the game 3-2, thanks to another Boa Morte strike, followed by a late goal from former Real Madrid winger Santiago Solari.
