The likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder could be on their way to Notts County this summer as part of their pre-season plans.

The Magpies have announced a triple-swoop of European opposition ahead of their 2013/14 campaign, with famous teams Galatasaray, former European Cup winners Steaua Bucharest and Rayo Vallecano scheduled to visit Meadow Lane.

Drogba will return to play in England for the first time since leaving Chelsea in 2012 but the Turkish champions' fixtures against League One clubs Shrewsbury Town and Notts County prove a marked difference from his previous English games.

Galatasaray, who play Notts County on July 16, also face FC Porto and Arsenal in the Emirates Cup summer tournament hosted by the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Chris Kiwomya's squad also meet the Romanian champions in a behind-closed-doors game at St. George's Park, Burton, on July 2nd. Notts finish their pre-season program by entertaining La Liga team Raya Vallecano on July 23rd.

The club chairman Ray Trew told ThisIsNottingham.co.uk: "A tremendous amount of hard work has gone on to secure top class opposition for our pre-season schedule and I couldn't be happier with the schedule that has been arranged."
