The agent of young prospect Marco van Ginkel has told Dutch news outlet voetbalpings that he will be signing with Chelsea this summer.
Previous reports suggested that the 20-year-old was apprehensive over the move due to lack of first-team prospects.
However, his agent has confirmed that Chelsea have convinced the young midfielder that he will see plenty of game time at Stamford Bridge.
His agent said: "He will leave for Chelsea, he will fit in with the first team."
Van Ginkel is a very talented young midfielder, who has dropped into a deeper role for Vitesse in recent years.
He may fill the double pivot role in Chelsea's squad, which has lacked consistency this year.
This signing would also be in line with Chelsea's recent transfer policy, highlighting the need for young talent rather elder, more complete players.
Van Ginkel is another young prospect with outstanding potential in the same mould as Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois - making Chelsea's future look bright.
