Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea could all still swoop for Borussia Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski.
According to the Daily Star, Lewandowski was desperate to move to Bayern Munich but Dortmund have refused to sanction an agreement with the Bundesliga champions after already losing key playmaker Mario Götze to them this summer.
The report claims this has meant all three of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are back in with a chance to sign the Poland international.
Lewandowski has only a year left on his current deal at Dortmund, but is reportedly extremely unlikely to sign an extension.
Manchester United have a long-standing interest in the 24-year-old and new manager David Moyes reportedly shares his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson’s interest in the player.
New Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reportedly had been sending text messages to Lewandowski, trying to convince him to join the Stamford Bridge club.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has been given an unprecedented transfer kitty to spend this summer and the Arsenal manager was urged by forward Lukas Podolski to sign Lewandowski.
