Arsenal legend David Seaman believes if the club capture the signing of Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, then it would be an excellent signing for the Gunners.
The powerful midfielder was superb for the Toffees last season and his impressive performances caught the eye of both Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea.
There was further speculation about his future, once David Moyes took over as Manchester United boss, with many people suggesting that he could join his former manager at Old Trafford, but it now looks like he could move to the Emirates.
It is thought Arsene Wenger is adamant that he wants to improve his side's midfield and he believes Fellaini would be the perfect signing for the club.
However, Everton are wanting offers of around £23m, which is the player's release clause in his contract and this high asking price might put the Frenchman off making a formal bid.
Ex-goalkeeper David Seaman has been talking to Sky Sports News about the possibility of Fellaini joining Arsenal and the Englishman believes it would be an excellent signing for The Gunners.
“He [Fellaini] is a great player and Arsenal have got to change their ways a little bit to get the best out of the team,” said Seaman.
“You’ve got to have your own strengths and he has certainly got a lot of them especially aerial strength. If he does join I think he’ll be a great signing.”
