Neil Robertson has stretched his lead at the top of the snooker world rankings following his victory in the Wuxi Classic.

Robertson played John Higgins in the final last week and managed to come back from 5-2 down to win 10-7.

The 31-year-old Australian, who has won eight ranking tournaments including the 2010 World Championship, now leads Mark Selby by over 6,000 points.

Wuxi runner-up Higgins has risen to sixth place, just behind Stephen Maguire and Shaun Murphy.

However, the 38-year-old four-time World Champion and former world number one still sits someway behind the leading trio of Robertson, Selby and Judd Trump.

Ronnie O'Sullivan, who has not competed since his victory at the Crucible last month, comes in at 22.
