Manchester City – Samir Nasri

Nasri has failed to really make his mark at the Etihad Stadium since his acrimonious move from Arsenal in 2011, but he may have seen the departure of Roberto Mancini as a new start and a chance to impress new boss Manuel Pellegrini.

However, Manchester City have gone out and spent £30million purchasing Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Nasri will know the signing of the 28-year-old will make things more difficult for him and he will have his work cut out to keep ahead of the new man, as well as still fighting it out with the players already in the squad.
