Spanish giants Real Madrid are prepared to offer Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur players plus cash in order to sign winger Gareth Bale, reports the Mirror.
The Bernabeu side have been on the hunt for Bale for several weeks now and they have been dominating the back pages with a formal move expected in the upcoming weeks.
Madrid have made it clear that Bale is the man they want to sign this summer and they have sent new assistant manager Zinedine Zidane on a personal mission to persuade the Welshman to sign for the Spanish side.
It was originally thought that Madrid are prepared to spend up to £85million for Gareth Bale, which is £5million more than what they spent on Cristiano Ronaldo a few years back, but now they are weighing up a potential player-plus-cash bid.
It is rumoured that they are ready to offer several players to Spurs with the biggest name being Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria.
Despite the hefty offers, the London club are rejecting all approaches from the Spanish side as they are adamant that they do not want to sell Bale no matter what offer comes in.
In the past, Zidane had told Bale to hand in an official transfer request, but that has not happened yet as the Welshman has admitted that he won't force a move away from White Hart Lane.
Madrid appointed new boss Carlo Ancelotti on a three-year-deal on Wednesday and he admitted that the team needs changes, but nothing drastic, so that could mean just signing Bale will be enough for the Spanish giants.
