England wing Chris Ashton likes what he sees from this year's England rugby sevens team as they look to triumph at the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow.
The England team got their World Cup campaign off to a winning start with a 21-7 victory over Portugal in their first Pool F group match.
And speaking before the match, Ashton revealed he's backing the team to have a successful tournament in Russia.
Ashton said on Twitter: "The @IRBSevens World Cup starts today and @Official_RFU team are looking spot on. Good luck lads."
The 24-team competition includes 2009 finalists Argentina, along with the defending champions Wales.
And the Welsh side kicked off their bid to defend the trophy with a comprehensive 33-5 win over Uruguay. They look like the team to beat, once again.
England haven't won the competition since it was first held in Scotland in 1993, and they were knocked out at the quarter-final stage last time around in 2009 by Samoa.
They face Hong Kong next on the morning of the 29th June, before facing 2009 runners-up Argentina later that evening.
Argentina beat Hong Kong 47-7 in their first Pool F match, and currently lead the group.
